I’m in Jonesboro every day (literally) because I have school MTWTF and work Sa,Su,M,W,F. That means I have to be in Jonesboro every day of the week. It sucks for me because of the gas prices right now. But, as of today, I have another reason that being in town every day is handy. I’m the tech shopper.
My friend has moved out of his parents house in what might be called an apartment in the back yard. It is a really nifty place, but he didn’t take into consideration all the little things he would need to make all of his technology work in this new place. So, I’m the one that is shopping for him. Yesterday, I got him a network hub, an extension cord, and a phone cord. Today, I think I’ll be getting him two ethernet cables (one for computer one for xbox360) and a coax cable and the male-to-male extender piece.
In exchange for that, I get paid back for the stuff and I get to hang out and play games and have fun. As posted earlier, we have a RockBand called the Donkey Frijoles. We’ve just gotten started with the whole thing, so I’m hoping it will get even more fun. Also, I hope to figure out how to play Smash Bros. Brawl, because it is different than the last smash bros i played (game cube). And finally, we’re going to be recording Late Night Computing from there, hopefully soon. Perhaps as early as tonight. Fun times for all.

I took this picture with my phone. This, my friends, is what I’d like to call the “illusion of choice” elevator. It goes between the first and second floors of the lobby of the ASU library. I’ve asked several people about this and wondered…. Why does this elevator have two floor buttons? It goes between the first floor and the second floor. Personally, I think the panel should look something more like this:
Because I mean really… If you’re on the second floor and you get in this elevator, you have NO CHOICE but to go to the first floor or get back out on the same floor you entered on. If you enter on the first floor, you’re going to end up on the 2nd floor. Maybe its just me, but this is something that has always bugged me.
