First of all, I must say, a lot of my technology interests have been put on hold lately. The main reason for this is my job. Working for Schwans, I work about 60 hours a week so I only have a few hours a day for personal time. On the weekends, I have to do things I wasn’t able to do during the week like clean up my apartment and do laundry and such. Also, I am trying to get Sean every other weekend so I get to spend some time with him.

That brings me to my first point. Since my last blog post, I have gotten an apartment. I live in Jonesboro now, and it is handy to be less than 10 minutes from work and less than 5 minutes from most of the “major attractions” that Jonesboro has to offer.

As you might remember if you read my last post, I stated that I got a new girlfriend. Well…That didn’t work out. There’s nothing really that needs to be said about that other than it just didn’t work out.

Also, I’ve got a lot of new gadgets that I need to write reviews for on here. One big one is the Google CR-48 Chrome Notebook, which I’m using to write this post. I’m one of the lucky people that got picked to be a part of the pilot program which means I got the notebook sent to me FREE and I get to keep it when the pilot program is over. Its a pretty solid little computer too. I will post more about that in my review of it in the next few days. Another thing I recently purchased was an iPod touch. I originally had the 8gb model, but I returned it and got the 32gb model because I needed the extra space. With the iPhone now available on Verizon, and my line being eligible for an upgrade, it is hard not to go get the iPhone right now, having played with the touch for about a month now. But… I keep telling myself that the next iPhone should be announced soon and released this summer, so I’m trying to hold out until then. One other thing I want to review is the Motorola MotoROKR T505, which is a device that accepts bluetooth stereo audio and has an FM transmitter in it. This has came in really handy in the trucks at Schwans so I can listen to my ipod music and podcasts through the stereo.

Individual posts for those gadgets should be coming in the next few days, as well as some exciting news that I can’t quite share publicly just yet…
